PADI Divemaster – Join The Tribe

So you want to “Go Pro”! The PADI Dive Master course is the first level of becoming a dive professional, if you’re going to do it, do it right!

To get to this point of wanting to become a dive professional you have already invested a great deal of your time and money, you have completed an Open water course, Advanced open water course, Rescue, first aid training and probably completed many dives. Here is not the time to be looking for cheap “Go Pro” options!

Your PADI Dive Master rating should have nothing to do with a number of air tanks you have filled for free, a number of hours you have worked in a dive shop for free or the number of fun divers you have guide for free, the rating is gained by you fulfilling and exceeding the performance requirements of the course! This can only be achieved by good instruction and mentoring from quality PADI instructors

As a PADI Dive professional, you will be expected to take charge of situations. Assisting student divers in training, lead certified divers of varying experience levels, handle problems when they arise and act as a role model at all times. Of course we still have fun whilst doing this, otherwise, we wouldn’t be doing it!

Here at Crystal Waves, we take great pride in teaching our candidates to the highest level. Our instructors are, I like to think “the best in the industry” there are no short cuts to our training. At our training facility we conduct all courses, in small numbers, maximum 4 students per instructor, as like our scuba Dive master trainee intake, we only allow a maximum 4 DMTs(dive master trainees) at a time.

This then allows us to spend plenty of time to work with each candidate. There are parts of the training where we may have all DMT’s working together, such as swim tests, skill circuits, and dive theory, although when you are assisting an instructor on other courses, you will be the only DMT with that instructor.
