The PADI Open Water Diver course can take as little as 2 days to complete. To start the PADI Open Water Diver course (Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

What Will I Learn During The Course?
The PADI Open Water Diver course is in three parts. Firstly knowledge development, five chapters of the PADI Open Water Course manual. The knowledge development is supported by video to give you a good understanding of the information required for this level of certification. Knowledge development can be completed prior to arrival, with the PADI electronic manuals!
With your knowledge development completed, we will be off to conduct confined water training, in our onsite training pool. You will learn and have time to practice all the basic skills required for Open Water certification. Our Instructors are there for you, the training is based on your pace, not ours, if you need extra time to master some skills, we make extra time! We pride ourselves in thorough courses, therefore our maximum ratio is four students to one instructor! Usually the following day, we will head out to the dive sites and conduct two Open Water Dives.
During the dives your Instructor will ask you to repeat some of the skills, that you have already mastered in confined water, just so we know you can do them in the real dive environment. The next day we will head out again, make two more Open Water dives, with a few more skills thrown in “just checkin”, once the dives are complete, your Instructor can then certify you as a PADI Open Water Diver, which allows you to dive ANYWHERE in the world up to 18m in depth! Your Instructor will also discuss with you, what other PADI courses are available, so as you can extend you diving skills!
